There she stands,
alone, as she surveys the realm she commands,
With her eyes sparkling like the city lights shining through a window,
She looks out to the future, to tomorrow.
Dressed in black crisscrossed shadows of the night,
She is dusk's first star light,
Her eyes kissed by the gentle kiss of the kohl,
She devours my mortal soul.
As the gentle breeze lusts over the nape of her neck,
from her lips, My eyes steal a peck,
With the innocent love that she radiates,
With devil, my life, I renegotiate.
In her smile, bashful, yet full of secrets,
I discover my ultimate weakness,
Yet as I find her, she disappears,
Just as the sky parts and rains, its tears.
