Dawn of an angel

Gentle sunshine floating through the window,
Caressing her hair spread across her pillow,
Radiant in the golden hues,
In this world of lies, a truth no one could refuse.

Delicate shoulders peeping from under the covers,
Eyes closed, hiding their riot of colors,
Wrapped in satin sheets flowing over her naked beauty,
In this world of pain, her simple beauty is an audacity.

Soft breeze itself paused and stared, transfixed,
At the whisper of a smile on her lips,
Surrounded by an aura that stays always,
In this world of hatred, a hope for better days.

Exquisite curve of her hips, an ethereal melody,
a sight that evoked ecstasy and jealousy,
Shining brightly like the Orion star Rigel,
In this world of mine, its the dawn of an angel.
