Closure

You left, Your reasons sound,
I walked around dazed, begging everyone for a reason,
A wound open and untended,
Feelings and time, suspended.

Shock and denial,
Were the initial stages of my trial,
On my knees, begging,
Hoping for divine intervention with my bargaining.

But your voice helped clear my depression,
Caused the anger and pain to lessen,
I know I still love you and will always do,
Yet now our paths diverge, my dreams I shall continue to pursue.

More open today than ever before,
We let our feelings pour,
Move forward with no weight on your shoulder,
Thank you for giving me my closure.
